WPS Maestro’s Quartet Raffle: Official Rules & Regulations
Here is what you need to know to enter the WPS Maestro’s Quartet Raffle.

Western Piedmont Symphony, Inc. is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation under the laws of the State of North Carolina for the primary purpose of operating a professional performing arts organization. The WPS Maestro’s Quartet Raffle is conducted for the purpose of generating operating funds.
Purchase one or more raffle tickets during the WPS Maestro’s Quartet Raffle to be entered to win the grand prize of a performance of the Maestro’s Quartet.
Raffle tickets are $100 each, to benefit Western Piedmont Symphony. Only 25 tickets will be sold. Odds of winning are based on the number of ticket entries purchased up to 25. Raffle entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Contest void where prohibited.
Sweepstakes begin at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, and end at midnight on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. All times referenced for the WPS Maestro’s Quartet Raffle are Eastern Time.
Prizes
Grand prize: Enter the raffle by midnight on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, to be entered to win a concert with the WPS Maestro’s Quartet. (Music program and location and date of concert to be determined by WPS and the winner. Concert may not occur outdoors. Concert duration may not exceed 60 minutes.) Prize is valued at $1,000.
How to enter
There are two ways to enter:

  • Online: Go to wpsymphony.org and pay the entry fee with your credit card. Email is required to complete the entry.
  • By phone: Call Western Piedmont Symphony at 828-324-8603, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Provide your entry information (name, address, telephone, email) over the phone, along with credit card information. Note: Ticket purchases via phone cannot be accepted after 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Ticket Purchases: Once submitted, entries become the sole property of Western Piedmont Symphony, Inc., and will not be returned or refunded.
Eligibility: Present employees of Western Piedmont Symphony and any immediate family members residing with employees are not eligible to participate. Entrants must be 18 years or older to enter. Contest void where prohibited. You need not be present to win.
Selection and notification of winner: Winners will be selected at random on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Winners will be notified by telephone and email. If potential winner(s) cannot be reached after 10 days from the first notification attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited and alternate winner(s) will be selected by random drawing.
Modifications or cancellation of drawing: Western Piedmont Symphony reserves the right to cancel or modify the Raffle. If 25 tickets are not sold by 5:00 PM on April 30, 2025, Western Piedmont Symphony, at its option, may cancel the raffle. In such case, ticket purchases will be refunded.
Indemnification and limit on liability: As a condition of accepting a prize, the winner acknowledges that Western Piedmont Symphony is not responsible for any harm, injury, or damage caused to any person or property, proximate or otherwise, the use of any prize by any person, and agrees to save and hold harmless Western Piedmont Symphony, its principals, and employees from any claim of such responsibility. “Harm, injury. or damage” includes but is not limited to occurrences beyond the control of Western Piedmont Symphony such as death, bodily injury, property damage or theft.
General: Ticket purchases are non-refundable and are not tax-deductible. By entering the raffle, participants agree that Western Piedmont Symphony, its agents, and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from the date of the award. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Western Piedmont Symphony may use the winner's name and likeness for publicity purposes without further compensation. Western Piedmont Symphony is not responsible for any failure of communication or failure of the internet or its website. Western Piedmont Symphony reserves the right to modify these rules and will give prompt announcement of any rule changes. All decisions of Western Piedmont Symphony are final and binding in all matters related to this raffle.
Restrictions
By participating in the WPS Maestro’s Quartet Raffle, a participant agrees to be bound by these official rules, and by all decisions of Western Piedmont Symphony.

  • Affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release of grand prize winner: The Winner must show proof of legal ID and will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability Release to claim their prize.
  • Authority and control: The decision of Western Piedmont Symphony shall be final in all matters concerning the Raffle. The Raffle is subject to the laws of the State of North Carolina. The Raffle is void where prohibited by law. Western Piedmont Symphony is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the Raffle's advertising and/or any printed, broadcast, or internet-provided materials or information.
